The grandfather of Myron Rowsey was Andrew David (1823 - 1905) the seventh child of William and Jane. Andrew David McCallister married Elizabeth Duncan (1834 - 1913) and they had eight children, the 7th of which was Calvin Albert (1868 - 1934). In January of 1906, Calvin Albert, a widowed farmer with 3 lively children, married Sara Ellen Chapman (1882 - 1908) of ?????? City, WVa?.
They had only 1 son, Myron Rowsey (Red) (1906 - 2001). Less than 2 years later, she passed away. So again, Calvin Albert was left as a widower.

Myron got his nickname 'Red' because of having red hair.
He was born in Shanktown, Apple Grove, Mason County, West Virginia
He worked most of his life at Union Carbide Chemical CO.. He was in the shipping department at both the South Charleston & Institute Plants. He retired as shipping foreman at the Institute Plant.

Myron Rowsey and Edith Lawson (1911 - Dec 19, 1992) were married on September 8, 1928 by A.J.Larabee at the Winfield Court House.
They had eight daughters and two sons. All of them grew up in WestVirginia.
Red was blessed with the true ability of woodworking.
Edith worked hard in their home all her life until she passed away there on CrookedCreek, ScottDepot, WVa.
They both are buried in the Lawrence Cemetery, Scott Depot, WVa
