The grandfather of Margaret Marie was Andrew David (1823 - 1905) the seventh child of William and Jane. Andrew David McCallister married Elizabeth Duncan (1834 - 1913) and they had eight children, the 7th of which was Calvin Albert (1868 - 1934). In 1908 Calvin Albert, a twiced widowed farmer having fathered 7 children, married Ida Ellen Dailey (1883 - 1970), of Crown City, Ohio. They had eight children: Oscar Carlton (1909 - 2000); Print Walter (Pete) (1911 - 1985); Margaret Marie (19__ - 2___); William Worthy (1914 - 1990); Mae Kathryn (1917 - 1994); Woodrow Melvin (1919 - 2000); Pansy Pearl (1921 - 2000); Frederick David (19___ - 2___).

This is from a picture taken on their back porch of she with most of her brothers & sisters. In the picture the girls (Marie & Mae) are sitting with their shoulders behind the more 'important' boys. LOL Womens Lib hadn't quite been thought of yet! When 4 years old, she became ill with diphtheria fever. After she recovered, the doctor said that due to the high fever, Marie would never be able to bear children. But she sure proved him wrong! Little did he know but in her married life she was going to become the mother of 5 girls & 5 boys. They would be Albert Francis, Georgia Ellen, Bernard Ray, Leonard Keith, Brooklyn Wayne, Geneva Mae, Anna Marie, Elizabeth Ann, Katherine Lynn, and Gregory Dwain.

Here are Marie McCallister and her husband Mervin Ray Terry (1904 - 1985) at Christmas 1979. They were entered into matrimony on March 4, 1931 at the Church of God in Winfield WV by A.J. Larabee. Marie & Mervin raised a good family of 10 well behaved, hard working children. One, Anna Marie Terry, was born & passed away the same year, February 2, 1946. Mervin worked most of his life at the Ohio Apex Chemical Co. Plant in Nitro. Marie was a stay-at-home mom. That was literally so because they never owned an automobile all their married life. Mervin always rode to work with someone & Marie always had to get someone to take her to the store. Ever since moving to Winfield in 1946 they lived in 3 different houses, but never moved out of town. Marie has outlived most of her siblings. Mervin was in Thomas Memorial Hospital in South Charleston, Kanawha County, WVa when he passed away and is buried in Ledman Cemetery. KNOW MervinRayTerry BIRTH & DEATH MONTH & DAYs?

Albert Francis (G-boy) Terry (May 27, 19__ - ) and Shirley Jean Meadows (July 20, 19__ - ????) were married on Aug. 28, 1954 at her parent's house in Winfield, WVa by Bud Rose. They had one daughter Diana (Diane) ???? Terry (19__ - ?). They were both born in Putnam Co. WV. Currently, they reside in Teays Valley. Now, how did the nickname 'G BOY' come out of the proper name 'Albert Francis Terry'? Well, Frederick David, Marie's youngest brother, had trouble correctly pronouncing 'J', Mervin's nickname, so instead it came out as 'G'. Then after AlbertFrancis' birth, they started calling Mervin 'Big G' and baby Albert 'Little G'. Finally after a while the 'Big' and 'Little' parts were dropped and AlbertFrancis was simply called GBoy. MIDDLE NAMES?

Diana Kay Terry married Everette Alan Maddox (19__ - ?) on Aug. 29, 1974 in Mt Vernon Baptist Church in Hurricane, WV by Rev. Earl Ted Wall. Diane & Alan had Michael ???? Maddox (19__ - ?) & Angela Maddox (19__ - ?). In 1998, Diana became married to Jeffrey Hughes in Huntington, WVa by David Tomeska. MIDDLE NAMES?

Both of them had worked; she as a school secretary, he also. After 'retiring', her job is as a DomesticEngineer & his w/ cattle & in RealEstate. They had 3 daughters, Penny Ellen Summers, Dr (5/28/19__ -), Peggy Sue Summers (9/24/19__ -), & Beth Ann Summers (7/21/19__ -). All of their kids deal with the school system & she did too. Bernard Ray Terry (June 22, 1935 - August 8, 2000) went by Ray or Mac or Mack. His Uncle Ock gave him the latter 2 nicknames.
