Their only child was a boy, Glenn Darwin Hawley (April 22, 19__ - 2???). Clyde worked as an operator at Union Carbide for several years and then he joined his father at Hawley's Jewelry Store in St.Albans. When his father died, Clyde continued in the jewelry business for many years until he took ill and had to retire. Mabel & Clyde then moved to Pensacola, FLa for afew years before returning home. For many a year Mabel did much for Clyde. After the deaths of Mabel's first husband & William Worthy (Bud) McCallister's first wife, these two married at later ages. That is how Mabel & William, who were 2nd cousins to begin with, became spouses to each other. They thoroughly enjoyed the few years they spent married because they had been friends as children, so had extremely similar backgrounds & interests. Then Bud passed away in 12/1990, leaving her a widow for the second time. She took a shine to the Mayor of StAlbens, WVa & he was her 3rd husband. On ??/??/19??, Mabel married Averil Livingston Ramsey (July 31, 1911 - June 7, 2000). Upon his passing away in 2000, he left Mabel a widow again. She claims that she has had enough marriage!

RuthLynn & Steve Hustead picture Glenn Hawley met Nellie Anne "Anne" Atkins (May 2, 19__ - 2???) at a dance in June 1966 when he was 19 and she 18. They were married on Nov 27, 1967 at Sparta, NC. They have a daughter Rebecca "Becky" Anne Hawley (Sept 28, 19__ - 2???) & a son Joshua "Josh" Glenn Hawley (18 Feb 19__ - 2???).
Glenn was a computer programmer for Union Carbide in WVa, then his job was transferred to Texas, so the family all went. After having been away from their home state for 8 1/2 years, they wanted to come back. So Glenn now works as a Computer Analyst at WVa State Capitol for WVa Tax & Revenue.
While Josh was growing up, Anne was a stay-at-home teacher for him & a DomesticEngineer interested in SignLanguage. Anne quit nursing to be a full time Mom and a stay-at-home teacher. Julian Eggleton was killed in World War II when on the Luzon in the Philippines.
RuthLynn & Steve Hustead picture Doris Eggleton was Blanche's 8th child. She and Jennings Bryant Arbaugh (June 30, 19__) were married on April 19, 1946 in their home church by the Reverend Meyers who was the pastor of First Baptist Church at StAlbans,WVa. Fred McCallister remarried them on their 50th anniversary April 19, 1996.

Jennings' overall working career was in the 40+ years and Doris' was 39 years. Each had a very good life. They would always take a very good vacation each year. They have been to every state in the US except Hawaii (Doris doesn't fly). They did travel to Alaska on the Alcan Highway when it was still gravel. That was quite an experience!
They have a Motor Home and belong to a Motor Home Club which has an 'outing' each month for several days. For almost their entire married life they had a boat thy enjoyed. Many a time they would take the boat and visit various lakes in their & surrounding states.
NEED Doris or MABEL or Glenn's HELP AGAIN. ANY KIDS? ANY PICTURES?
Belva Shank before age 16 Belva Shank was their 2nd child. She passed away at an early age.
One time Oscar McCallister took his youngest brother, Frederick David, for a walk over into the hollow to see Sam Horton. After Sam cussed at the other 2, he kindly invited them into his house. There he had the picture of a girl setting out and Fred was asked if he knew who she was. Well, that little girl was Belva and she was the *only love* of Sam Horton's life. He died a hermit because she died before they could get married.
WHY DID BELVA PASS AWAY AT AN EARLY AGE - ILLNESS? COULD SOMEONE, such as MabelEggletonHawleyMcCallisterRamsey, REVIEW THINGS ON HERE, LIKE CORRECT NAME SPELLING (is there an 'i' in beliva)(DorisEggletonArbaugh says no I), BELVA's MIDDLE NAME.
