BuddyBoy met Fonda Opal "Opal" Hudson Fields (Dec 8, 1916 - Nov 3, 1999) at a furniture store where they both worked in Charleston, WV. Opal had been born in Carbondale, WV. On Jan 10, 1939 they were married in Charleston, WV. They moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1944. BuddyBoy's occupation was an electrician.
